Gulf Atlas is a digital compendium of design. The Atlas highlights often-overlooked architectures, and while some projects are from outside of the Gulf, we believe that they are relevant to the discourses and dynamics of the region.
The entries do not adhere to an overarching framework or sequence, rather, they are usually selected a day or two in advance. These entries aim to offer readers a brief introduction to the projects rather than providing extensive depth or insight. Additionally, we find it imperative to actively produce and engage discourses in Arabic with the hopes of fostering more resonant local conversations.
