Between tall corn stalks in Iran, visitors follow cleared paths connecting the different stations of the Poonhezar Ecolodge. Designed with local and upcycled materials, the baths, platforms, firepits, and dwellings are scattered throughout the site. By using the cornfields as a spatial element, the project’s spaces and the rhythms of circulation are imbued with a sense of playfulness and discovery.
